Families & children
Travelling with the whole family? No problem. Find out more here about baggage, reserving seats and baby supplies on board.
If you’re travelling with a child who is two years old or younger on the day of the return flight (or last flight sector) they can sit with you on your lap for 10% of the adult fare. If a seat is required the full adult fare will apply.
Babies aged between 7 and 14 days can travel with us on Thomas Cook Airlines flights as long as they have a fit to fly certificate from their doctor. If the certificate isn’t provided on request, the baby will not be permitted to travel. Babies aged 15 days and older do not require a certificate.
Hold baggage for infants
Infants are automatically provided with a baggage allowance of 10kgs on any Thomas Cook Airlines UK flights. This can be carried in a separate suitcase or can be combined with other passengers on the same booking who have pre-purchased their hold baggage.
Passengers under 18 years old
Unfortunately we can't accept bookings online (or over the phone) unless the passenger making it is 18 years or over.
Under 18s can't use online check in. And if you're under 16, you'll need an adult to come with you to the check-in desks at the airport.
Children under 14 can't fly on their own.
Seat reservation for infants
For safety reasons, only one infant under the age of 2 may sit in each row.
