Dominican Republic in November
Weather in the Dominican Repubblic in November
Benefitting from its Caribbean location, the Dominican Republic has year-round sunshine, and November is no different. While it’s not quite high season, at 28°C many people prefer to visit Dominican Republic in November.
This time of year slightly milder and more manageable for exploring the island and taking part in some of the fantastic sports and activities on offer here.

The second biggest country in the Caribbean, the Dominican Republic occupies the majority of the island of Hispaniola, next to Haiti. Although best known for its palm-tree fringed white sand beaches, luxury resorts and vast golf courses, what I love about the Dominican Republic is its varied terrain and the opportunities this presents for having fun. Hike through the rainforest, zoom through desert plains on a scooter or climb the highest mountain in the Caribbean, Pico Duarte and when you reach the top, relax with a rum cocktail as you watch the locals puff cigars and play dominoes.

Travel through time in the capital, Santo Domingo’s ‘Zona Colonial’ – a historic neighbourhood housing colonial landmarks including the oldest church in the Americas’, Catedral Primada de Americas. As the day turns into night, head to a local bar and admire the merengue dancers sashaying around in striking, swishy dresses – or master the moves and give it a go yourself!Kacie, Food & Travel Blogger: therarewelshbit.com
