Faro in July
Weather in Faro in July
July is the hottest month in Faro, along with August, and the relaxing 24°C average sunshine will get you outdoors all day and well into the evening.
Whether you’re taking in the sights, shopping the city’s charming boutiques or watching the world go by with a glass of wine from a sun kissed terrace, Faro in July is perfect for a relaxing holiday not far from home.
Tucked away on Portugal’s southern coast, The Algarve, in my opinion, is one of the most naturally beautiful places in Europe. The region is jam packed with gorgeous beaches, surrounded by the iconic sandy cliffs. Often mistaken for being a Mediterranean destination, The Algarve is in fact on the Atlantic coast and, as such in the summer months, enjoys a much more temperate climate. Perfect if you are like me and long to strap on your walking shoes and take in the views from the top of those cliff edges.
The locals are friendly, approachable and helpful
The busier tourist areas are geared up to welcome visitors to the area, with markets, alfresco restaurants and an amazing atmosphere in the heart of the main towns. In contrast, the quieter areas still maintain a Portuguese charm amongst their picturesque cobbled streets. And the food, don’t get me started on the food. It’s seafood heaven. Being right on the coast, there’s freshly caught fish in the chillers at all the restaurants. It’s one of my highlights. Asking what’s been caught today and picking something that I haven’t tried before.Sally, Lifestyle Blogger: lifeloving.co.uk
