Mallorca in August
Weather in Majorca in August
Majorca in August is for real sun lovers. The average temperature of a typical Majorca August sits at 31°C, making it hot enough to spend the whole day at the beach, sunbathing and swimming to your heart’s content.
Out of the water there’s several festivals to catch throughout August, including the Assumption of the Virgin on August 15th, which will see the whole island celebrating in the sunshine.
Palma de Majorca weather
Majorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands and is all about sun, sea and exploring! It’s best explored by car as there are lots of different places to see. My favourites are the beautiful beaches of Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia in the north. There are also lots of caves to explore, including the Cueves Del Drac which is really impressive.
Hikers, cyclists and food lovers will love Soller
Hikers, cyclists and food lovers will love Soller which has a traditional town square and a tram linking the town and port. Head further south to the more built up resorts of Santa Ponca and Palma Nova and you’ll find plenty of bars and restaurants plus some lovely sandy beaches.Samantha, Travel Blogger: cocobutterblog.co.uk
