Booking additional baggage

You can book your hold baggage online either at the same time you book your flight or afterwards by logging into your Manage My Booking area or by calling our Customer Contact Centre. And if you book in advance you can save up to 50% on baggage charges applied at the airport.

If you’re flying long-haul with us you’ll have some allocated baggage allowance included in the price of your ticket but if you need anything extra you can pre-book some additional hold baggagge before you fly. The weight limits can be combined if you're travelling with other passengers on the same booking, as long as any one bag does not exceed 32kg. The dimensions of each baggage item must be within 158cm (length+width+height).

It’s also important to remember that if your journey includes feeder and connecting flights, it’s the free baggage allowance of the airline with longest flight segment that applies.

Two brown suitcases with camera case and hat.

Please note that baggage charges are non-refundable. All are subject to change without notice. If the stated free baggage allowance is exceeded, excess baggage charges are imposed. Please note that for safety and occupational health reasons (loading by baggage handlers), more than 32 kg (70lb) per item is not accepted as baggage. This rule applies regardless of the free baggage allowance. Additional terms and conditions apply if your journey includes feeder or connecting flights operated by other airlines.
